Terms of Service

Welcome to FaithStash. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FaithStash — our website, mobile-friendly web app, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use FaithStash

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. You may not share an account, impersonate another person, or create an account for anyone other than yourself.

3. Membership plans and billing

FaithStash offers a Free plan and paid plans (currently Plus and Scholar) with additional features such as community creation limits, creator publishing access, and Telegram-connected live calls. Paid plan features, limits, and pricing are described on our Pricing page and may change from time to time; we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes. Where a payment provider is connected, charges are billed in advance on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your plan at any time from Plan & Billing.

4. Content you post

Members on Plus and Scholar plans may be granted creator access to submit original content (insights, reflections, and related material) for publication. All creator submissions are reviewed by our moderation team before appearing publicly. You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant FaithStash a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it as part of the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share anything you submit, and content must not infringe on others' rights, contain hate speech, harassment, spam, or anything unlawful.

5. Community features

Groups, comments, prayer requests, and (for Scholar-plan groups) Telegram-connected live calls are provided to help members grow together. Group leaders are responsible for the links they share and the conduct of their groups. Staff and moderators may enter any group, remove content, or suspend access to enforce these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

Please treat this as a place of respect and encouragement. You agree not to: harass or abuse other members; post unlawful, defamatory, or sexually explicit content; attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service; scrape or bulk-download content without permission; or use the Service to distribute spam or malware.

7. Moderation and enforcement

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our reasonable discretion, with or without notice, particularly where we believe conduct poses harm to other members.

8. Third-party services

Some features rely on third-party services you connect voluntarily — for example, joining a group's live call via a Telegram link, or reaching support through WhatsApp. Your use of those third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Devotional, study, and AI-assisted content is offered to support personal spiritual growth and is not a substitute for pastoral counsel, professional advice, or your own study of Scripture.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaithStash is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
